About the Founder – Dr. Annu Jayan (MD Dermatology)
Founder & Medical Director
Dr. Annu Jayan, Founder & Director of Skinessence, is a highly experienced cosmetic dermatologist with over 20 years of clinical experience in dermatology and aesthetic medicine.She completed her MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, followed by her MD in Dermatology from JJMMC, Davangere. During her postgraduate training, she was selected among a small group of dermatologists to attend an advanced cosmetology workshop under Dr. Satish Savant at Nanavati Hospital, Mumbai.
With a strong interest in aesthetic dermatology, Dr. Annu further trained under Dr. M. K. Shetty, one of the pioneers of aesthetic medicine in India, and later worked with Kaya Skin Clinic, Kochi. She has also served as a national-level trainer with Restylane, training doctors across India in advanced dermal filler techniques.
Dr. Annu regularly attends national and international dermatology conferences to stay updated with the latest developments in skin, hair, and laser treatments.
